Designer Spotlight: Truvelle
Growing up in her mom’s sewing studio, Truvelle’s founder and creative director Gaby gained the knowledge and drive to start her own line. Seeing the need for dresses that make brides feel just as comfortable as they are beautiful, Truvelle has been a staple collection at Dream since the beginning. Gaby and her team have consistently embodied their girl-powered dream of gowns with mindful design. With the goal of zero waste during production, their gowns are not only beautiful, but they are also thoughtfully made. This Vancouver based company focuses on attention to quality, the “little things” and overall coolness for the effortlessly confident bride. These handcrafted, ethereal styles are perfect for the modern bride.
Oh, and did you know you can customize your Truvelle dress? yes! You can switch tops, skirts, fabrics, remove trains, add color and more! Again, creating a Truvelle dress made perfectly for you.

Describe the Truvelle bride.
I like to think of our bride as cool, kind, and laid back. She’s pretty in a really effortless way and, while she’s not too outspoken, she’ll always have something witty ready in her back pocket. When it comes to her wedding, it’s all about the subtle, thoughtful details.
“From scratch, we create made-to-order wedding dresses, with a heavy emphasis on design, fit, and quality. All of our patterns are handcrafted and perfected, our carefully chosen fabric is individually hand-cut, and each gown has a story. We’re proud to be a made-in-Canada brand.”- Gaby Bayona, owner, and designer.
