Laudae looks to make conscious decisions wherever possible, and a big part of this is continuing local, in-house production and using sustainable fabrics. The brand uses a recycled polyester stretch satin that allows ease in movement and creates fuss-free attire. Bold laces meet new silhouettes, featuring billowy tops, fitted skirts and the line’s first long sleeved gown. Brides have the option to customize their gown (think mix and match, bridal edition) — swap out the lace for another, opt for a leg slit, etc. The bride has the power.
This season’s collection takes a more refined direction from the previous. Founder & Creative Director, Gabrielle Bayona, says, “I’m excited about further continuing the conversation with our brides. We want to be a brand that’s receptive to what our clients want, and make sure we’re always designing with her in mind. From our last collection, we found that our brides love the freshness and subtle contrast that a cream lining gives (but not so white that you lose lace detailing). It’s something that we’re really excited about & something we can’t wait for our brides to see.”
Laudae aims to be both aspirational and accessible to brides. Gabrielle and her team are more than excited to release this collection and foster the thought that ethics and style can go hand-in-hand.
