8 TIPS FOR WEDDING DRESS SAMPLE SALE SHOPPING

1. KNOW WHAT YOU WANT

Have information ready about the brands, styles, or sizes you need, and be FOCUSED. Sample sales are not for first-time shoppers discovering your styles and finding out what you love, as the choice and time in the boutique will be limited during sale times. It’s best to book a full dream appointment.

2. BE READY TO BUY

Bring your decision-makers, and have a budget and payment ready! Then be prepared to buy on the spot on the day. There is only one of each dress in the sample sale, so if you really love it, go for it!

3. KNOW YOUR SIZE

A sample sale means you are buying the dress you are trying on, off the rack. The dresses in the sale are mostly bridal 8 -12. This means that brides who are a size 4 -12 in street size will fit the samples best. You can always take a dress in, but it’s not advised to be let out much.

4. DRESSES MARKED AS-IS

Some dresses have been well-loved, and if you can see past that and get it cleaned you can save big!

5. LOSING WEIGHT

You must always buy a dress as you are today! Do not buy a dress that is too small with the intention of losing weight. You don’t need the added pressure – most of the time this only results in stress and heartache.

6. DESIGNER BARGAINS

Use a sample sale as a chance to pick up a couture designer wedding dress at a reduced price.  And if you keep it in good condition, your dress will hold more value and may be able to re-sell easier than an unbranded cheaper gown.

7. SERVICE

This event will be very different from a usual visit- please don’t arrive expecting our usual luxury appointment style. You will still receive dedicated help from Malinda, but your visit will be limited to try & buy. You need to know what you want and make quick decisions.

8. HAVE FUN!

Wedding dress buying is supposed to be fun – so enjoy yourself!
